About Parish

Noarlunga-Seaford Parish evolved from the Christies Beach Parish, originally established in February 1963. It includes the picturesque seaside suburbs of the City of Onkaparinga, 21 kms south of Adelaide. It is part of the Southern Deanery of the Adelaide Archdiocese.

The Parish has two Mass Centres - St Luke the Evangelist Church at Noarlunga Downs and within the Seaford Christian Churches (SCC), formally the Seaford Ecumenical Mission (SEM) at Seaford.

St Luke's opened in 1983 and is located next to Cardijn College on Honeypot Road, Noarlunga Downs. It is adjacent to the Centro Colonnades Shopping Centre and the City of Onkaparinga Council offices and is well serviced by public transport. Mass is celebrated daily. A Spanish Mass and a Filipino Mass is also held once a month.

The Seaford Christian Churches created in 1996, is situated approximately 6 kms to the south of Noarlunga Centre, in a rapidly-developing new suburban area nestled between the famous vineyards of McLaren Vale and the surf and sand of the ocean beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The SCC Centre is home to five Christian Churches, Anglican, Catholic, Church of Christ, Lutheran and Uniting, who have come together as four congregations to witness the unity that Jesus Christ desires for all his people. There is a Catholic Mass at SCC each Wednesday and Sunday.

The SCC Centre is also home to the Town Square Cafe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a light meal. It shares facilities with Southern Primary Health Seaford.
